I think private demand is what has mainly accumulated the environmental problems. However, overcorrection movement could be the problem or evil of tomorrow. The situation is analogous to that between capitalism and communism in the past history. Rigid standard setting and forced compliance on ineffective 'ritual' (the idol worship) could be the problem for all.
