Isn't that the truth. I would add to whether they believe it or not, that it doesn't even seem to matter if other people on the planet have ever even heard of, or been exposed to their version of "God's word". It's simply their tough luck if they haven't.

The idea that an "omnipotent being gave them and only them written directions on how to live their lives" isn't the problem. It's the idea some hold that an omnipotent being gave them and
everyone else on the planet whether they believe it or not written directions on how to live their lives.
