It rains on the good and the bad. God is sovereign and all powerful. If a believer or an innocent is caught in a disaster they are only caught up to heaven and never died at all. Only our bodies die not our spirits. Another thing it is man who is disobedient and causes all the disasters. God is a gentleman he will allow us to sin all we want and he will send judgment. That is not a lack of love it is pure justice. Good post.

RSM, I agree that God is in control. If there is no God, then how can God be the blame for tragedy?  :)  We are not puppets.  God sets boundaries, and we can go outside those boundaries but like in sports when you are outside the lines, you have to pay the penalty.
