Kingmi, if you had half a brain, you'd still be voting Republican.

America*s most recent major party the GOP voters must feel strongly about ideology because they and the Democrats rejected the “celebrity” candidates Giuliani and Hilary. It worked for the Democrats.  BCA, Bill*s Cae

Kingmi....I do respect you, but your vision of the future is clouded......
I believe you shed your GOP principles a few months ago........you are now what is know as a rubber stamp......we can make up our minds on a candidate when the time come, right now our job is to find whatever means necessary to prevent the Zero from destroying our economic system and with it the country itself........

Interesting!

I don't know about Mr. Gingrich. He has a lot of good ideas, but he has a lot of baggage as well.

Concerning the fate of the Republicans, I believe that, unless the Republicans in Congress grew the body parts that they'll need to return to the philosophy of Reagan, we're going to see the emergence of a Conservative party (or, possiblt, the emergence of the Libertarians) as a viable third party rather than a resurgence of Republicans. The problem inherent with either, of course, is splitting the votes the Democrats wouldn't get, thereby handing them more elections.

Romney?
What is the GOP's fascination with Romney?  He governed Mass. for a while and wasn't exactly beloved here.  He was best known (at least in my circle) for slashing the state funds given to charitable organizations.
