Sometimes people amaze me with what they find to pick on.
I'm glad to read your essay on the meaning of "elite" vs their intention as "snobbery." I am a big fan of our new president, and one reason is that he stems from an everyman background, he's like me -- grew up in financial poverty, with a mother who valued education and ambition. No way is he snobbish. I'm so glad the voters recognized his merit and I'm feeling much better about our nation's future now than any time in the last 8 years.
