Thank you for this. I love the heroes who don't give in to CP. My Grandson Phil is one of my heroes. He is 24 this month. A combination of CP and Angelman's syndrome have kept him from ever being able to talk, but he communicates in other ways. He learned to walk at age three but it has been a struggle for him and he has always been an inspiration to anyone who knows him.

Roll on! Years ago I worked with a man, Lewie, who had CP. He didn't let it stop him and we all understood that. He and I even played on the same work-based co-ed vollyball team. He was very good and we had a great time. He is now deceased, I am sorry to say.
