Yes, I have known some insane nurses, and questioned the sanity of some doctors.

Welcome back Naut
Too funny:) It reminds me of the scene in The Princess Bride, the poisoned wine bluff and double bluff (don't ask me why, it's just the way my brain works..!). What a great film script this little story would make.

That reminds me so much of "flying over a cuckoo's nest". Also, one of my cousin who is an accountant was working in an asylum until an "inmate" asked him how he got discharged...

Most interesting! "Sanity" and "insanity" can sometimes be such relative terms!

loll... its the classic case of watching the fish in the aquarium vs the fish watching you... Who knows what qualifies as sane or insane... usually what conforms to our sense of what should be is sane behavior and anything that differs from that is crazy... Normal is a very boring term. I , for one, never want to be "normal" :-) ( don't be sending the white coats after me... I am very good at "feigning sanity" loll)

LMAO!!
I've always considered Psychiatry to be a pseudo-science, at best, and a study of it's history and methods speaks for itself.
