become its friend and laugh out loud
and watch it blossom, so proud.
feed it silk and give it flowers
stroke its legs but watch for powers
for as they tease you out to play
be very careful of what you say.
a friend for life it was so sure
a heart of gold, so pure
it takes a life and spins a web
then leaves you there till dead.
