Excellent post Azur....I agree..
I also don't care how it's written (I have not got any room to judge anyway ha ha) but I love to read anything written from the heart ...

I'm afraid I am obsessive about editing my writing. I even go back and make changes to things already posted. I have even been known to edit my comments to someone who has commented. I'm not so committed on other things (like housework - I've always been a believer in "a lick and a promise").

I agree Azure.. sometimes it takes quite an effort to get started but when it's from the heart I find things write themselves.

As you can tell I'm of the unedited variety.
I have been plagued by a newletter editor wh will not give me some feedback, puts what is in essence my trisl balloons up instead letting me fine tune, or telling me exactly what they want. You are talented, it all has a sheen to it even if not polished.
PS: Hoipe the heat wave and fire are not affecting you and yours much!

My friend Susan read a rough draft of mine, then the finished copy.
She said the finished one was clearer in some ways, but she liked the first better because it had more heart. So I vote with you and the others about what goes into Blogit -- the heart makes it warmer here.

I'm with you I write from my heart and if it's a story I will polish it
later but if everything here has to be perfect I'd never get through or have the pleasure of reading so many of my friends.

Heart is everything, especially in cooking and writing.
Professional bloggers should write porfessionally and in a polished manner, but we peones, earning mere pennies, don't have to worry so nor sweat the small stuff, if the content is good. wonder when my content will rise up to any good?
Happy Valentine's Day to you and yours, too.

I Love it!
I like the homeade analogy...always with heart but rarely perfect! Thanks for a great Valentine's Day blog!
