Hi Sue, I understand exaclty what you mean, it can be complicated having a life and mentality of your own sometimes. I have a piece below which you may relate to:
Meaningless meanings…..
People always say the same old thing give up on your past
And your like maybe, they justify that its cause in the future u won’t last
Your like perhaps thats completely true
But how can that be if by the past they define you
They say the same old thing, move on, be strong, see the lights
But what happens when subjectively you still keep facing the same fight
Maybe its cause we haven’t confronted our own true battles
So even though we put it behind us, internally it hasn’t been cancelled
They define u by time and explain what u should be doing
But what happens when u just want to do what ur believing
All abstract, ecliptic ideas
But maybe abstracts ur fighting ur fears
And really its only by this is it revealed do u breakthrough
And that’s when the destiny is fulfilled u know u.
so be careful of others, sometimes their words are just bla bla bla
but really you have to look for the answer to be who you are
So next time they point fingers, next time they judge
Just remember its hard, but in you and God u must trust.
