Give Peace a chance. And I loved that song. I loved Hair.

I believe I had the album and I KNOW I could sing that song by heart. In reference to another post, I also loved Jesus Christ Superstar. LOL A little hop and a skip down memory lane.

Ya bring back memories, even though I was too young to be a hippie (I would have been about 4 or 5 years old by then....LOL). Still it reminds me also of another musical play: Jesus Christ Superstar. It was in the same "vein": Peace and Love, man! As for the stars influencing us....I'm afraid that WE are responsible for our own actions, not the stars. This being said: Peace & Love, man! It can't hurt if we all feel it and send good vibs for the next day or so.

Thanks for an interesting article; we could certainly do with peace, harmony and love. However I too think it's up to us frail human beings to do something about it. I loved the video.

Hi, Arial. Feeling groovy today I thought I would lay a little flashback on
you. Being an ass-ended time framed hippie myself, I remember the song. It was indeed from the 60's The first time I heard the song was watching a performance of  'Hair'. An off broadway musical (with an all nude cast) which later wound up on Broadway. The church I was part of (as well as a lot of the other churches in the area) boycotted the play saying it was bad for the youth to see such a display. I saw the play anyway and did the right thing. I kept my mouth shut. The movie release came later and was almost as popular. outtasight,Huh?

A pinch of nostalgia got me as I read this... although it is most likely
that balls of dust all sorts in the cosmos certainly may have some influences here...such as the moon and tides etc. but in the end I believe that men and women make choices on their own, and much of the woes and better things in this world, as in individual lives, is as a result of choices people make, not as a result of planetary movements ... anyway I thought I would mention that. Thanks for the post.
