Yes - networking is another great use for Facebook. I hope it works out for you. Thanks for visiting!

Hi Betsy. I did Facebook for awhile. Yes I was reacquainted with some
family members and friends and it was great. Unfortunately, I had to take it down again. We all still keep in touch via mail (E and Snail)though, so facebook proved it's worth. I'll use it again in the future when I start networking for professional reasons.

Re:
Yes, I have reconnected with several old friends and it has been really great. I'm also able to keep up on the lives of my two brothers and their families. They both live in other states. Now I have my parents on it too, so they can also see what's going on with their kids and grandkids and great grandkids. Next I'm working on my mother-in-law. Wish me luck. LOL

I have not done much with it but I have heard a few excellent stories of folks reconnecting through it! sam

Re:
I know what you mean. I've had my grown children's classmates contact me. It's really quite fun - and I get to catch up on all the photos which I think is almost the best part.

I agree with you.  I am especially enjoying communication with the younger crowd--teens and early 20's who would not normally keep in touch with a 70+ aunt/great-aunt/second-cousin/old Sunday School Teacher in a different state or even across town.
