Re: That's right!
Whacky, you got that right. That's why we should never let it take a back seat. HI BO!

Re:
Hi Betsy, thanks for reading. Yes, it's very much underused; it shoud be our most treasured personal possession. And look how often people allow themselves to be pushed into giving it up! Hang on to those grandbabies! They are the best source of joy!

Joy is such an awesome word and I think it is underused. I have worked with a joy stealer and it can, at times, be difficult to move beyond, but I find if I just go forward and be happy myself and ignore the joy stealer's comments, I make it through the day in a much better place. My favorite joy givers? My grandbabies.

Re: Well Said!
Hi Texas! Yeah, it's very true. They creep out of the woodwork, and before you know it, you're in the middle of a big whirlwind that you didn't see coming. Be cautious!

Uncanny, I read this twice...know some exactly fitting this...
well, make that past tense "knew', as I terminated the "friendship"...there is also a hidden underlying jealousy there that makes them secretly want us not to be happy / successful, because they figure we can be dependent on them as long as we are unhappy / unsuccessful...very insightful post FYS...btw, hey where have u been? no visits for a while (: ! - Ash
