What brilliant colors Sam! The dawn does soothe the weary soul, and holds great promise. I was missing your comments, and was so glad to see them on my last post. However, I'm really sorry to hear of the headaches--suffered them for years, till I found the cure in ayurveda (the Indian traditional medicine) so I know what you've been through. I do hope you're feeling better. Take it easy now! God bless. Nita.

"shadowy ambivalence of the present" I like that line. I don't really even understand what it means but I like the sound.

The last four lines of your poem stay with me....the "Strength" comes as a wonderful blessing. I'm always fascinated by your writing.

A "weary" well traveled soul...an even better line...
...but, as you suggest, past disappointments don't have to ruin our future prospects.

Beautiful.  Strength, much coveted by all.  Mine comes in spurts these days, then I have to go take a nap.  LOL
