Re: Re:
I am not saying Democrats don't tend to spend money. I'm saying Republicans claim to be the Party of fiscal responsibility, and then cut taxes, borrow money, and increase spending faster than the Democrats, at least in recent history. Reagan did it, and Bush did it. In both cases, it was hypocritical and irresponsible, and has done lasting harm to our government and our economy. That is the Republican legacy.

I do not often agree with you, nor do I agree that these are the only areas in GW was disappointing. Yet, I must say that in certain areas he did good things that no other president has done. And Ms. Bush is one of the most gracious First Ladies who have ever occupied the White House.

Re:
The two party system is just two fingers on the same hand. Wise up people, you have no real choice, unless Ron Paul makes the whitehouse.

Re:
Are you saying that the democrat party are not the authors of big spending? If so, you may need to check your history. Without going through all of that, just look at what your president is about to do. A Mob Museum in Nevada??? Get rid of the pork please! What a joke!

I wholeheartedly agree with you on the size of government under Bush. He allowed government to expand at a record rate, showing a complete lack of responsibility or leadership. He and the Republican-led Congress showed what Republicans are really about--spending borrowed money, just like their hero, Ronald Reagan.

You forgot only one thing...Bush was inarticulate and that's why Obama is in there.
And if you can talk, you can get away with murder. And if you can't....you can't get away with anything.
