Something you seem to have missed in your reading about global warming is that the general process is predicted to create greater variation in weather patterns, more extremes in heat and cold, and eventually a large shift in climate, with some northern climates becoming much colder due to shifts in the patterns of air and ocean currents. So record cold around Toledo is probably going to be an eventual consequence of global warming, according to the models. Have you, then, discovered more evidence favoring it?
