MLB...
Loved the attention it got from the big time hitters and I wouldn't be suprised at all if over 50% of the players used one form or other of enhancers, even the off the shelf varieties found at GNC and the like.  The old saying, "cheaters never win" has to be modified to, "cheaters always win untill they get caught."

Re: Thank you..
for the input, sam444. I agree that it does make a joke of A-Rod's salary.   But all the salaries in baseball are a joke, don't you think??  Can you imagine Manny Ramairez turning down $25 million?

Re: I agree completely... and not only that...

I agree completely...
...and I personally think the current Baseball Commisioner, Bud Selig, is a clueless clod who has been an embarrasment to the game and who should have been investigated himself long ago for misuse of office.

BASEBALL'S PROBLEM...

is that it is RETROACTIVE not PROACTIVE when it comes to any kind of change in it's game.  They always wait for public opinion to go against them before they decide to make a change whether it's playing rules or drug testing.  And the player's union is always trying to protect the players while the owners are trying to protect themsleves and their investment.  Thus, they both played down the steroids issue(which started with Jose Canseco and a few others back in the EIGHTIES) in hopes that it would go away.  Meanwhile, they made a ton of money off of the innocent until proven guilty public.  No, baseball lost credibilty with me a long time ago.  They will lose even more if they keep these guys out of the hall of fame, because the media who vote(and some of them HAD to know) wouldn't have made a dime without the players who used and none of them blew the whistle.

By the way, welcome aboard.  Hope to read more blogs from you.

I think suspension is definitely out of line too! He was following the rules, MLB needs to let the players know when they change! Brother! I am sick about ARod testing positive! Kind of make his salary a bit of a joke to me! Bonds was persecuted, the rest might as well take their licks, so to speak! lol sam
