No RSM, you did say it was mine
You said "when three of your last three choices to fill your cabinet posts" and it was clearly NOT in reference to Obama, but to me.  Basically you are saying that somehow all the choices Obama makes are my choices... Sorry, but it don't work that way.  Or do I get to blame you for all the damage Bush did to this country?

The thing is even with fluctuation in the stock market, a competent President should be looking ahead and seeing what is coming and try to find ways to either prevent the problems or at least make it so it is not as bad as can get.  Well Bush kept telling us all how things were great and that we were not headed for any kind of rescission.  Either he was lying or he was clueless,  but in both cases he did a piss poor job.  Just about everyone in this country who was not following him blindly knew that we were having problems and that something needed to be done to keep things from getting worse. Hell it is scary to me at just how accurately I predicted this all happening before Bush' time in office was over and I admit openly I know very little about economics, but I guess I know more than Bush since unlike him I saw this all coming a mile away while he had his back turned to it all. Bush did NOTHING at all to try and help the economy.

As for Obama's choices in cabinet positions, it has been fairly well admitted by members of your own party that the tax issue were not intentional, but basic screw ups that anyone could have made.  This really is one of the most trivial of things to be holding onto and just shows that you don't really care about the big picture, but are going to look at every little thing you can to pick at in your relentless attacks against Obama just because you are a poor loser.  I can over look all the small mistake Bush made and focus on the big ones that helped to damage this country greatly and I waited until Bush had made those real mistakes and we saw the results of them before I started to criticize Bush.  Unlike you, I didn't jump to conclusions just because I disliked the man.

And there is really not much of a change in my posts. If I am less aggressive right now, it is because I have other things I would rather focus on, since the elections are over.  I still believe fully that in the end we will see Obama do an amazing job as President and that he will prove you and those who share your views of him as wrong as it gets, yet I am also positive that you will never admit tot his no matter how good of a job he does.  I also have no doubt that Obama was by far the better choice for President and that we would have more to be afraid of if McCain was holding the office. While the Stimulus Package feels wrong to me, I understand fully that due to how Bush screwed things up, there is need for drastic action that may not be popular and may look bad at first. I am ready to give the man the room he needs to take auctioned most likely do what is best for this country.  Just because I do not have the same sheep mentality that you have, does not mean my views on Obama have changed any.  Of course if he does half as bad of a job running this country as Bush did, then I will show integrity and admit to having been mistaken about the man.  One of these days I would love to see you show such integrity and admit that Bush was a piss poor choice for President, but I don't see that ever happening.

Re: RSM, Your sense of reality is very weak you know
You voted for the Obama administration. I never said this was your administration. It does not matter whether it is a Republican or a democrat who have done wrong. If you had read the posts I had about Bush and other Republicans you would realize what I am saying. You seem to forget that the stock market reached its' highest level ever in the history of the market under the Bush administration and if you knew anything about ecnomics you would realize that the economy rises and falls in cycles no matter who is at the helm. I complain about Obama's choices to try to solve the problems. I never once said nor will I that the bad economy is Obama' fault. However, do not come on before the election like some know-it-all arogant politican then when you win you make terrible choices. This is what Obama has done. However, you have got to admit that three choices of people who do not pay their taxes is at least bad judgment. I can never remember a president who had made three bad choices due to the same problem. Even your liberal media admits to that. I am just amazed at how your pre-election posts compare to your post election posts! Do not talk a big game unless you can back it up.

RSM, Your sense of reality is very weak you know
First off, I am little puzzled by you claiming these were my choices.  You seem to have me confused with Obama there.  He is the one who is making the choices, not I.  There are no members of my cabinet, I don't have one.

Next, do you really think that if we looked into the tax history of every republican that they would all be sparkly clean?  My money is on there being just as many Republicans out there who have lied and cheated on their taxes as there are Democrats. If these guys were Republicans you would be defending them and saying that it was a mistake and that we should give them a second chance.  You live by double standards after all. Stop showing such a high level of ignorance by pretending that the Republicans are not just as corrupt as the Democrats are.

I am not about to defend their actions.  Yet they are making amends and getting the appointments.  In a few years we will see if they were worthy of the positions or not.

You have yet to admit that your voting for Bush has cost this country greatly, and that is after eight years of him proving what a mistake it was to vote for him by basically destroying this country and our freedoms.  YOU made a huge mistake, twice, and voted for Bush.  Yet I have yet to act as childish over that as you are over Obama. Obama has only been in office not even two weeks, and we have yet to see what will come of his time as president.  The big problem is that he has to clean up the mess that YOUR mistake left for him. I never voted for Bush, but at first I was defending him.  I have since admitted that I was mistaken in my defense of him.  That was about six years ago.  After that Bush showed all of us that he should never have become president. There is no way Obama will end up showing himself to be as great of a mistake as Bush was.

I am positive that in four years you will be the one who should admit to having been mistaken, but you have shown yourself not to be man enough to admit you make mistakes.

Re: Re: RSM, that is a urban legend that has been out there for years now
So you want us to believe that using false information to try to turn people against the government is a good thing?  I am troubled by the tax issues of some of Obama's appointments, though on reading the details about them, I conclude that main problem is in the complexity of the laws.  Even Republicans have called both Geithner's and Daschle's problems 'honest mistakes', though they are not above criticism for failure to address the mistakes in a timely manner once they were pointed out.  But hey, our Chief Justice of the Supreme Court was interviewing for a job with Bush while considering a case in which Bush's administration was a principal, and then sided with Bush against the rule of law.  In any other country, this would sound like blatant corruption.  Hardly an 'honest mistake' in that case.

Re: RSM, that is a urban legend that has been out there for years now
I fully well know the age of this material. However, when three of your last three choices to fill your cabinet posts all have cheated and lied on their taxes then...! Looks like nothing has changed! You must admit by now you realize what a mistake YOU made in your vote for Obama on November 4. Here's some more news, you will see many many more events yet to come that will prove to you that your error in voting will cost us all gravely.

RSM, that is a urban legend that has been out there for years now
Talk about finding something as old as it gets, which has also been proven to be inaccurate, and trying to pass it off as news.  Seriously, do some simple research on any such e-mails you get before you try to pass them off as being fact.

That's a real eye opener.
No wonder we get jaded, listening to stories of so many outrageous actions by people in authoritative positions. Great post!
