Stirring Marion . A wish that we could open our ears and hearts to those tales when history was passed down verbally by the elders. Time to stop and think! Sounds like a good movie.

Wigopa (for Taps LOL)
What a tradition that would be – to gather around a fire and listen to the stories of our elders. Unfortunately most nationalities have allowed traditions to slip away replaced by the rush and hustle of life, or worse, viewing our elders as an inconvenience.

Marion this is laden with tradition... loved the images and the fire... I could imagine the kids sitting around it and the elders telling them about their heritage, about life, about their ways. Excellent my friend.

Fantastic poem, it makes me want to build a fire! I'll have to see Inkheart, I saw the previews and thought it seemed interesting. I think it's almost time for a challenge...hint, hint,
