Thank you for your comment.
Your poem is the opposite of my silly bath piece. Mine shows a person, all worked up and rushing like crazy. Yours shows a person accepting total stillness.
I'm sorry to hear you have those headaches. Hope that one was your last.

Sam – I’m glad you found something (whatever it was) to ease the pain of your migraines. What a relief that must be!

Sammy, I'm so glad that the shot worked. I know how you've been plagued by these intense bouts of pain. So terrible. I get mini migraines from time to time, and even those are awful. I'm finding that when I cut out citric fruits and juices (grapefruit, oranges) and sugars, I stay headache free. I think I'm allergic to Vitamin C (that sets off headaches), too. Stay well, my friend. Mal

Eloquent! Does have that slight 'hospital-room coldness feel' and the hope that relief provides! Gald you are feeling better... and don't drink "BUD"... it's a bad beer for migraines (my boyfriend and my friend's husband used to get severe headaches from this beer)!!!!

Sammy I am so sorry sweetie ... I wish there was something I could do. I am glad the shot worked and you felt better... and your poem is beautiful... the relief you felt comes through in the lines loud and clear. Here is hoping migrains leave you alone for a long while. I will pray for you ... xoxoxo

I'm glad you are better now. If you can pen such intense lines even when in pain, speaks volumes for your never-say-die spirit. Peace be with you!

Shelly, dear,
I am so sorry to hear of your painful migraines. Never having suffered any, I can only imagine...But I have a friend who used to have very severe migraines, and who told me some time ago that a change in her diet, suggested by a nutritionist, reduced both the number and intensity of her migraines...I wonder if you have explored that possibility?

I am so sorry to read of your pain with migraines and you certainly expressed your hospital visit with your poetic talents very well. Now I do hope you have also gone for MRI's or will go to make certain something is going on uninspected.

I can empathize with you because our middle son went through a terrible time with migranes from the time that he was a little a boy. One doctor made me angry when she told us in ER that it was normal for a child to have migranes. I said, no ma'am! It's not normal for anyone at any age to have migranes. She didn't like my theory but I didn't like hers so we were even. :) Glad that you got relief!

Thanks for taking the time to explain what was happening and what brought forth the poem. It is a beautiful poem. I hate all the hell you have to go through. You are such a strong and brave woman. xxoo
