I really like the tracks in the snow metaphor
It just clicks. I totally understand where you are coming from with feeling strong and optimistic one day, then insecure and uncertain the next. Life is such a rollercoaster.

Hold On for a minute.
You really cut loose on the blog and I am proud of you growing in the sense of knowing yourself better and feeling betgter about who you are. I too believe that we touch one another in many ways that we will never know. I too believe in being genuine and open to people, and I will be the first to admit that I do not have all the answers today nor will I ever no matter how long I live. I am a doctor who is retired from teaching 24 years, and being a cognitive neuroscientist for 14 years as well as an expert witness in court cases involving head trauma and toxic exposure of the brain. I am a longly woman at this point in my life due to the one thing men often deal with and that is their ego and desire to supercede women in position in life. I miss my exhusband, but it was not my idea to have an affair with someone like he did for years. He was a lawyer. We all have our woes but put them in the past they have the value of a bucket of ashes today. Always look into the future and walk into the future. The human brain is not mature until a person reaches the age of 30 (Gazzaniga,MD, 1984 p.17). Hang in there and remember some fear can be a protective coating from those who may want to harm us. Be safe. You are an angel in disguise.

That's a fine image and metaphor you have
It could be the basis for a novel or a poem. And to think, it came from your detested season.
Cheers,

Re: Thank you, Itza
I'm so glad that something touched you. I don't know that there is a greater gift I could ask for then to be not only read, but actually "felt" too. Thanks for your comment. *S*

Nice to make your Acquaintenance, Flawed!
*lol*. Thank you so much for the kind words. It's very scary for me sometimes to let it out so honestly. It makes me feel alittle xposed emotionally for a moment,ya know? But Im working really hard at some very raw writing, because I know that's how I am going to achieve things in my life; by writing and reading and listening to myself, to others, to life...all of it, and I truly am trying to be a better, stronger woman every day.

Beautifully stated, excellent perspective.
I admire intellectual honesty, which is so rare in people nowadays.
It seems people expect perfection from others, but, never themselves.
And to hear someone being open and honest about imperfection is refreshing.
"Hello, Imperfect, nice to meet you..my name is Flawed."

I can relate with a lot of your words, and i believe that everyone at some point in life feel the same. There is no day in my life that i wonder why am i here, and as i look back into the footprints that are behind me, it all becomes clear. Well said
