Gazing at the universe on a cloudless night can make a person thoughts take flight.

"Seek rest for my final days" and "sea of tranquility"......"Gazing the universe".Through out this whole poem there is peace, readiness, and so much beauty.

Most enthralling gaze you share sam. Ever seeking the tranquil sea a fine destination to seek!

Ahhh…. That constant pursuit – to realize our course, embrace the journey, and seek tranquility.

I love the themes in this... it's beautiful, and you imagery is, as ever, applied with surgical skill and poetic chaos.

I know my place is not here, cloaked in barren soil, amid my own futility.
And I am etched upon the earth’s reality; in October, a farmer’s trampled cornfield maze.
Such a powerful statement about our tenuous grip on this earth. Lovely! Mal

Great poem! Only you could see tranquility behind that mysterious, churning and rapidly expanding maelstrom that is the Universe...
