I have exposed the ACORN misinformation several times here and still Mr. Light and others persist in coming back with the misinformation you have read here.

While I agree that the stimulus package is of great concern, and that plans should include a way to pay for all this spending in the near term, once the economy is growing again, I find your analysis a bit off.  First off, ACORN workers have been accused of cheating, but the organization itself has not been shown to be culpable, and the available evidence does not support any allegations of wrong-doing.  It was ACORN, after all, that reported all the registration irregularities in Las Vegas and other places.

Now, are you sure the stimulus package offers 5.2 billion dollars to Chicago ACORN?  I have a hard time taking that statement seriously.

As for the tax cuts, yes, you can cut taxes for people who don't pay income taxes.  Because they pay payroll taxes, which are economically and morally equivalent.  Bush did the same thing, with the child tax credit and the increases in Earned Income Credit.  But I still favor investment in infrastructure and perhaps some business tax cuts as better targeted approaches to economic stimulus, but then I don't know quite as much about macroeconomics as Obama's team.
