I have read Ms. Pelosi's statement in the interview, and she is clearly advocating contraception, and says that funding contraception will reduce financial burdens in states.  And it would.  Teach young women how to avoid unwanted pregnancy, and give them access to contraception, and you reduce unwanted pregnancies, and therefore also reduce abortion.  You also reduce teen pregnancies, which tend to be high risk and have higher rates of complications, and many of the teens are uninsured, so all those medical costs end up under Medicaid.  So, get good sex education and easy access to contraception, and everyone wins; fewer abortions, fewer complications of pregnancy, less tax money spent over all.  It's actually a sound investment.  Economists will verify that.

I believe that you are intelligent enough to realize that the democrat party has changed some since Thomas Jefferson, do not try that with me. If you do not understand how the democrat party has changed since then I will be more than happy to explain it you.

Family planning by use of contraception is not what is being discussed here. My wife and I too have two children and then I made sure I was taken care of so that we would hopefully not have any more children but if God would desire us to have another then so be it. My wife had gone through enough pain during both pregnancies so that is why I chose to 'take care of things' on myself. This is not what I am talking about and I truly find it difficult to think that people in this day and age have no clue how to take care of these things BUT murdering the unborn is what Pelosi and her worthless gang of liberals are all about, get it? Please do not try to spin it.

A Historical Note

The Democratic Party is the oldest extant political party in America, dating back to Thomas Jefferson as its first elected president.  Yet you call this party 'cancer'.  Do you mean to condemn the organism or the invader species; i.e. the Republican Party, who are the late-comers?

As for Family Planning, I have used it.  I planned to have a family, with two children, and succeeded, and then planned to continue my sex life without having any more children, and also succeeded.  I believe Ms. Pelosi is advocating that sort of Family Planning, which, if done properly, does not involve any unwanted pregnancies or abortion.  And everyone would benefit from that.
