'knot that ties will unbind'/ 'future in the middle of the ocean' -- strong lines -- I've read about 3 of your poems and they take me to Mass. or Connecticut on the lobster ships. Basically, like that movie "A Perfect Storm". I feel the water, the windy grass, hear the foghorn ect.

Beautifully written!
And I think the best course is the one uncharted - at least then we get to make new mistakes, having learnt from the old...

Lighthouses seem to evoke reflection, I find.
This is a lovely piece--very heartfelt and honest. The last few lines make me sad for you, if true, though.

Hi! Sam444
I was truly moved by your poem today about the lighthouse's beacon. I am sure you are a professional at this petry business. It was filled with depth and lots to think about. I truly enjoyed it. To "right the vessel we must navigate with experience...'" quite moving.

the brightest light of all comes from the
beacon within... only those who have experienced inner beauty can write this. The last two lines are superb!

A beautiful poem. I especially liked "
To right the vessel of life, one must navigate
the waters of experience.
The little brooks of optimism serve as rivers to
the mind. "
