"Of Futility"...WOW, I love the line, "I have seen the moon take over the night and pretend it is the sun shining bright".
There's a lot of searching the depths in your poem and also so much found. Powerful.

Sam...
...I have suffered such inner-conflict as you speak so brilliantly and poetically of.
It's a paradox and an enigma that takes on an unstoppable life of its own.

I love the repetition of certain lines throughout the poem to give it a sense of balance. Very deep! Definitely requires a serious/focused read. Nice to see this angle from you!!!

You are scaring me with your mood!
Deep and serious are you my friend, burt know that G-d have given you one more day to enjoy each time you awake whether by night or day. I hope you are not so pained that it is unbearable. Be more positive, we know not what our purpose is on this earth. It could be that you so touch all of us by your fine words skills that we feel truly gifted from you to us. Thank you for your poem. Bepeace unto you and may a smile come once more to your face. You are blessed and in the image of G-d. You really made me weary reading this sadness in you. Plealse perk up after some rest and know that your poems and your comments are appreciated and loved.

oh, sam, this is such a wonderfully well-written poem.
So powerful with meaning that touches my soul. I love the line, mistakes are my bane and my teacher, yet I fail as its student................wow, that is exactly how I feel right now. Great talent, my dear friend. xxoo

Shelly
Very thought-provoking, as so much of your poetry! It's the sort of poem that has to be read and re-read, and thought about...I shall print it, and read it again later, when I have time, when the day shifts to nightfall...
