A sad, horrible story, but so well written that one is compelled to follow it to the end. I give it five stars out of five.

Whew! That was some scene! For a while there it seemed to be on a knife's edge whether she would shoot or not, which of course was the point! Very well done! I'm looking forward to the next chapter...

Truth is I have lived a long time and have seen that rich or poor, educated nor not, saint or sinner to some degree all life is familiar in relationship more than people want to believe. If I can make you believe it was me or if I can make you think I know too much about you I have written the novel about most people and it will be read. I hope I can do that. Be blessed. You are so encouraging.

You are one to talk. Your work is magical. I love reading it. One of the things I love so much is the information you give us on Australia, we can see it. I am so thankful for your comments.

I enjoyed reading this.
It was shocking that he asked about had she wrecked, as if he hadn't done anything. Was he truly sick in the head? In the future, I'd like to see how the children react to his being gone. The boys who witnessed the beating versus the girl who didn't--or had they all seen it before? Your writing is engaging. ILY
