Delightful!
I love those pleasant surprise encounters with nature.
Sometimes I stumble upon a beaver that lives in the marsh near my home, and sometimes it's a fox or cardinal or blue jay.
And then there was the huge and fearless snapping turtle which swam over and peeked its fist-sized head out of the water as if to say..."What??? You got a problem???"
Oh...did I mention that it's a lovely poem? It is!
