I was surprised with the Cardinals/Eagles game, but the Steelers/Ravens was close to cue. I am happy for the Cardinals and hope against hope that they can find a way to win the whole enchilada. The weather won't be a factor so it may be a shoot'em up scoring game.

Yes. The state that was denied the Super Bowl back in 1996, because they did not recognize Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday as a holiday has a team going to the big game in the same year our country swears in an African-American President.

The Cardinals in the Super Bowl? This sounds like an impossibility only a Hollywood script writer could dream up. What's next? A black president?

The Steelers/Ravens game...
...turned out pretty much as I expected, as did the Eagle/Cardinal game.
Next year should be interesting as Raven's defensive coordinator, Rex Ryan, is now the head coach for the New York Jets, which has everyone in Baltimore hoping that Ray Lewis becomes the defensive coordinator for the Ravens, since this might be his last year playing.
We're also interested in seing how Joe Flacco developes in his second year as quarterback.
Oh, and...it should be an interesting Super Bowl.
