Brain Fart
Per Jargon.com, a brain fart is the actual result of a braino, as opposed to the mental glitch that is the braino itself.
In otherwords, whoever came up with the advertising campaign against domestic violence in which violence is depicted had a momentary laps of good sense, and the ad itself was the result. This is directly opposed to saying the person was an idiot and needs to be shot, which is what needs to happen to many abusers.

It's a Fair Point!
I remember seeing the director of RoboCop being interviewed many years back now about the effects of film and TV violence on the audience, on society. He was quite adamant that there was no causal link until the interviewer made one very succinct point;
Advertisers pay millions to show 30-second commercials on TV which are designed to alter the viewers behaviour (so they buy the stuff being advertised). If it didn't work, they wouldn't still be doing it. You, Mr Director, have a full 90 minutes! And you really think you have no effect??
At which point he was stunned into silence. No answer at all. It was like he hadn't thought down that route at all until that moment. A genuine revelation for him, I thought.
You're right, it makes little sense for domestic violence to be portrayed in a campaign against domestic violence. But I have to ask...what's a 'brain fart'???
