thanks jackie - it was only on the home page that it was happening, under new blog entries.
I'll try again with notepad without the word wrap, I do remember checking the box now you mention it, to put word wrap 'on'.
I posted more easily by copying / pasting from my Word docs into WordPad which worked fine too. It seems blogit didn't like the source being Word, and was saying where the text had come from when showing my entry under new blog entries after I posted them. Strange.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't find the entries; perhaps you've already changed them? If not, please let me know the subject or approximate date/time of the entries.
Also, regarding your question in your recent blog entry about pasting from Notepad with the correct line spacing, please try going to Notepad's Format menu and unchecking "Word wrap" before you copy and paste the text. That should fix the line spacing.
