And by crafty I mean it in its essence! How beautiful...I especially like the last stanza and the last line. Give us more :) J.

Sam, would like to share this with you.....Once Lord Buddha with a couple of disciples was walking down a street, suddenly a man started hurling abuses at him, this agitated the disciples very much but Lord Buddha kept walking camly. Later when his disciples asked if he had not heard what that man was saying, Buddha replied 'Yes I heard but I did not receive what he was giving. you took what he gave, hence this suffering.Your poem is so good, as always.

Excellent!
Wish our young people could understand this.  Thanks for the visit and I think

your ministry is also excellent.  It means more to kids when you do something

like that for them than people realize.  May you be blessed for your efforts.

Sticks and stones may break my bones...
...but, innuendo can only whimper.

Excellent and very well said
True compassion allows for freedom of expression without a hint of contolling another's thought, words, or lifestyle.  There is harvest for the seeds we sow. I'm sure your's will be beautiful flowers that spread across many fields. Extreme attempts to control another's life and thoughts through judgement is a karma most would like to avoid. I believe our directive is to judge not that ye be not judged.  As always, continue to Spread Happiness

Well said Shelly. Innuendos are sly best to ignore them? They can trigger negative reaction in the listener.
