by the way...
by the way, re Cameo - I just love the last three lines..I think they re really powerful and render it easy for one to visualise a landscape, a setting. Everyone has his own deserts, and this somehow brings it to life. Well done. J.

My dear Sammy - I pray that your pain lifts soon. You are too good to be burdened this way. Amazing poem, as it brought me back to the Lower Salmon River and my amazement with Idaho several years ago. Such talent you have, even when in agony. I'm praying for you, Sammy (and don't let Soulbuilder get your goat - he's a nut job!). Mal

The Snake River is mysterious, winding and sometimes looking so lonely, but there are many hidden treasures along it's route. My prayers are with you.

I know a little bit about you by now and I like your unconventional take on life. The trodden path is not for you. GET WELL SOON.

Vivid poem. Blogit will be here when you are able to post. I understand first-hand illness and limitations; whether temporary or otherwise. Remeber, it came to pass not to stay!
