shelly_b, I always dreamed of retiring in Santa Fe. I love Santa Fe for many reasons, but here I am still in Missouri. I think I like to have my dream. If I were there, I'd probably be eating green chili and dreaming of here.

It does sound exciting, and you'll never know if you don't try
Look what I found here in Canada! LOL Good luck and I know the right thing is going to come along soon. You have such an upbeat out look.

Nothing ventured - Nothing gained!
So many unhappy people live in fear of getting out of their comfort zone, and some live their entire lives the way others want them to. If you find a good opportunity, go for the gold. :)

Good for you, shelly
Ohio doesn't have much to offer in the way of employment. You might just be on to something. You should go with your gut. I fit wasn't for my family, I'd be outa here, too.

Shelly, I did the same once, only in my case it was another province. Even now, I work with employers alot, and I find that they concentrate more on your qualifications than where you live, especially if you are willing to relocate. If you are the right person, some may even help out for the cost of moving. So why not try it out if you want to?there's certainly nothing to lose, and you just may gain exactly what you want! Follow your feelings!

Shelly
Give yourself a big pat on the back for taking the first steps to making change in your life. Change isn’t easy and most of us would prefer to stay in a rut even though we’re unhappy. Good luck with the job pursuit.
