I've always found Robert Altman's work quite fascinating since he was from Kansas City and since my husband worked with him for a time at Calvin Movie Productions in Kansas City during his return here for a time in the 1950's to learn film making. For years, I had a reel tin autographed for my husband by Altman that I used for a sewing box for my embroidery threads. I gave it away to a sister who wanted it very badly. It was fun to see him in Kansas City again during the filming of his movie "Kansas City".
