although now at 31 I still haven't had but three poems published in a book, and a few on the internet...so I think I am behind on the curve a little..

calia14, he began to write it when he was 15 and I think that it was published when he was 18 or 19 and then a movie before he was 21, I think.

Great to hear that you finished your first book at such a young age, now fight like mad to get it published or self publish at amazon or somewhere. Congratulations.

what you have to do WileyJohn, is play it over and over as you work on something, that first cd, until you actually do hear it, then you can move on. It is a learned skill and not so difficult to acquire. Patience is the key. Try it again one day driving with Kabu somewhere....

I loved those books and am waiting for the final one....I finished my first novel at 20...though it has been collecting dust for a while...now..

I haven't checked Eragon out, but I didn't know it was written when he was only fifteen!  I just finished my first book tonight, and I'm twenty six!  Great info, Kabu, thanks!

Good for you luv, I was given an audio book from my daughter 'Neeny' and I couldn't concentrate long enough to enjoy it.
