cannot be matched, that ink soaking into the tooth of the paper so smoothly...love this!

Sometimes, just the feel of a pen or the thickness of a piece of paper can call the muse!

I do truly prefer to be able to revise easily, but there is something thrilling in the finality of writing in a nice hardbound book that cannot be easily deleted or inconspicuously torn from.  I got just such a journal for Christmas and have started to catalogue my best poetry in there.
