Go to Is Being Gay A Gift From God?

Should have read this sooner...
Though things started out with my husband on the side of "don't worry - I'm not one of those church-going fools", and me forthcoming with my opinion of baptism and the hypocrisy of it in my case, we wound up arguing over the baptism of our children, should we ever have them. He felt that since I was "nothing" (I do not partake of any organized religion), our kid(s) would be baptized since everyone in his family is. How does a non-church-going-fool/lapsed Catholic get to switch gears after everything is discussed? Not fair, I say.
You make great sense and anyone who reads this should forward it to all their newly-married and engaged friends.

Great points! I faced that with my marriage as well! We ended up rearing the children in one faith! sam
