when it includes such notables as David (Flush Rush's brother?) and Patrick (author of Nixon's Dirty Tricks) Buchanan, I would consider your source here quite suspect and quite biased.
But just like you, it takes the most innocent of actions and makes them into the most criminal -- that is, if they are actions of those you oppose -- if they were of Bush, or someobyd you supported, even worse actions to you would be nothing at all.
