Facts? Have you ever read on of Al Franken's books? He is, as he has been described, a wonk who can be funny. He seems to know his stuff. But I'm sure you researched that before you started criticizing him (and just chose to leave it out for literary reasons?).
Inductive reasoning requires more than one data point to support any conclusion.
