Re: I ached to be there while I was reading this. My grandbabies are all

I know, Kabu. My sisters used to go to orphanages in Mexico to hold babies and some hospitals have AIDS baby hugging and rocking grannies here in the US. YOu might be able to find a rocking place to just hold one once in awhile.

I am so sorry that yours are so far away. I miss mine that are far away. Don't even know one of them.

Dogs and Babies, nothing yummier for us of the western civilization, I'm sure.

I ached to be there while I was reading this. My grandbabies are all
so big now and they only think they want me around. Oh but when they are little the love is so unconditional and there is so much to teach them like running water and such. I see you got told off by baby for interfering with the all important parenting job of lick lick. I had a poodle when I had babies. Never leave a dirty Nappy on the floor with a mothering Poodle around!

Re: Little ones sure do keep you busy, don't they?

they do, shelly b, they do and sometimes, not for long enough anymore as I get older and the kids don't want to bother me or use me as much as they did for the older grandchildren.

Thanks for reading and writing.
