QUESTION FOR YOU!
obviously, you commit alot to the rhythm and form of your poem, which I love. I love not "tripping" . . . I was just curious if you've had classes or do you listen and write by ear? I personally, have never been able to figure out the whole "accent/unaccented" thing and I always wonder how important this is from a publishing/editorial standpoint! Great stuff!

Sam
Oh, how I sometimes welcome those old songs; songs which stir and arouse fond memories. But then there are times, such as you have described, when they take us down a path of love, longing, and loss. Music can take us to an exact moment in time. Our memory is so closely linked to those old tunes and although sometimes they delight, on other occasions they haunt.

Music is all the emotions of love!
as always, simply amazing.i love music!!!for joy, for sadness, for dancing, for dreaming, for all it does.and this is soooo true how a song opens the record player in your mind and the memories waft with it.perhaps you simply need a little bit more time to finally let go, and of course, more music!!thank you for the lovely read........again and again!

You excel at every poem form you attempt, sam...
...and this is no exception. As for me, music never heals...only hurts. I have no emotional filters for music, that's why some songs are always devastating to me, even when I'm not in a state of heartbreak.

Healing music indeed. But what about your migrane, is the intensity less somewhat? Do take care, and don't over exert.
