Dealing with VA (or any government agency for pension or disability proceeds) can often be a challenge. It can be a slow, grinding process. I think they bank on people giving up because they make it so difficult. Stay the course… the most significant documentation you can provide would be a letter from the Dr. who treated Richard. Good luck with it.
