I sometimes feel I live in a different world
All the American media that I have seen have simply reported the actions of the Israelis, along with Israeli statements about the limits of their goals, goals that I fully support, and that the American government seems to support, uniformly, as far as I have seen. The protests have come from Muslims the world over. I have yet to see any sympathy for Hamas in the Midwest; they are getting what they deserve. Some may pity the civilians in the public, but not to the point of calling for a halt in Israeli action until the goal of stopping the rocket attacks has been assured.
Maybe European pacifists want a ceasefire; I haven't paid much heed to them. But we American Liberals, at least in my neighborhood, know Hamas is not a legitimate player in international affairs, and commend Israel for its forbearance in not stating as a goal the removal of Hamas from power, choosing instead the more measured path of simply taking action to ensure its own security. Such Liberal media as my local newspaper have taken this view. What are the rest of you reading?

The leftist leaning media loves....
to continually stir the pot of trouble. For all we know some medai outlets may be supporting the renegade Hamas. Good post Corbin - AS USUAL!

If all these protesters are "appalled" by Israel's actions
They are very welcome to go and enlist to help their Hamas and Hezbollah bretheren...no, wait...they can't drive a Prius and drink Starbucks while there, can they?

That one sentence about how Israel is productive with the land and exposes the Arab sloth says it all. Israel is the more civilized of the two breeds, no question. If Hama's had the firepower of Israel there would be 10 times the innocent victims.
What the hell good would it be to let the Palestinians have that land? Arab bombs are motivated by jealousy and boredom.

I'm amazed over and over at the media slant on this and other topics. I am
very saddened at the civilians caught in the fire and then hating Israel for defending themselves against Hamas INITIAL attacks on their city. It's amazing that people are blinded and can't see the truth here. Hamas are the aggressors and harbor the terrorits...Israel patiently endured and finally said enough is enough.

I need not tell you that I agree completely! And how utterly disgusted I am at the bulk of our media, with their carefully modulated 'spin', condemning without actually saying so, and wringing their hands at Israel's decision, long overdue, to finally excise that Islamist cancer from Gaza...
And I only have contempt for the 'activists' who believe they have found a 'respectable' way to express their anti-Semitism or, more bluntly put, their hatred of Jews...
