Azur
I do so admire your professionalism, Azur, and to be able to 'bash out' a story in an hour and a half has me in awe.  Some lives may stop, but yours is rising to a crescendo.   Congratulations.

Hi Azur, this sounds very encouraging, I must admit I would be scared witless having to read my work aloud (it's bad enough going back to it after a few years...) - Well done, can only be good experience

Re: Whatever is preoccupying you must be a darned Muse as you have been

I do think that sobbing and manipulating are cheap winning techniques, but, darn it, they do work.

I do like your extreme honesty with yourself, even when you don't want to do it, you tell yourself the truth about circumstances, feelings, motives and results.

Write on.

Azur, It's great reading about all that you are doing.  I'm glad you might have a little time for us now.

Wow! I think you did well considering it wasn't polished! I like how you set your priorities too! The magazine article demonstrates that! I saw you at my blog and I was hoping un/sent letters was returning! I wondered when I did not get my cryptic message! I am so pleased you are back! And with my favorite blog too! You know I have to promote it! lol sam

Whatever is preoccupying you must be a darned Muse as you have been

oh so very productive.

Me? I'm packing Pakistani household goods for shipment to Wisconsin and waiting for this new activity to end, as it it agony. I steal days by saying that I must do this or that, but cannot end it, which is what I want. This too shall pass as the train leaves on the 12th.

Wish you had a webcam to read your piece on youtube, hiding your face and all that, of course....cuz, I wanted to be there and to hear you.

Crowds love to have their emotions messed with no?

Sobbing is a judgement of good writing. Next year,

manipulate away.

Happy New Year, Azur!
It's so good to read you again -- and to hear of your reading to an audience. Sounds like the writing millstones are grinding again.  Write on!
