EX_TURPI, you haven't posted a thing this year.  You must be keeping busy somewhere else.  I hope it is happy stuff you are doing.

With each renewal there is a rebirth of hope
The new year, the new day, even the new moment can spawn a moment of realisation in any heart and mind, and I dearly hope that the new year helped more people realise the potential  they hold.

Nothing's changed except the color of our hair...
Yes Ex, nothing of major concern changed, we still make war even when we also make love; there are still 7 days a week and 365 days a year; and worse, we still keep on damaging our planet. They say that time is like a flowing river. You dont step on the water and expect to step on the same water again. But what can we do? We are only poor bloggers. Of course I also believe Ariala that if we blog well and often we might "change the world one reader at a time. Keep writing my friend

It's how consensus creates reality--
and the power of intent and will, of the energy we manipulate.

Your thoughtful essay reminds me very much of "The Four Agreements"
by Don Miguel Ruiz. The agreements are a succinct recipe for living peacefully amidst the strife and chaos of the world. Happy New Year -- or rather, Happy New Day to you. :)pat

Yes, nothing has really changed, unless we change ourselves first.

HAppy New Year Les. It is a good time to lift your hands into the sky and make a joyful noise. Ring it in and sweep out the old!
