Know this that I learnt

That in a relationship your job is you: Change yourself, Love yourself, Treat yourself better, etc, not the other, for no one can change another person.

Stop beating yourself up over this. It is not your fault that things could not work out the way you hoped.

Like I have told you...people are self-centered.  They do what they feel will benefit them without thinking about the other person involved.
