Even if you don't believe in God sometimes you must have felt his existence

Alright, I'm still licking the blood off the knife on that one. But I really think you should encourage them to visit and say whatever because that's what makes the posts and following dialogue evolve.

TexasGem - I have to correct you on a couple of things

Nowhere have I stated or implied that I do not want people's comments. The question I pose in this blog's title and how it was elaborated upon in this post, suggests a little more than simply complaining about people telling me they believe in God. The point is the inequity with which those who believe in God and live in a society that conditions them to think as they do, approach me and leave comments that they would not stand to receive from me.

Ask yourself honestly how you would react if someone were to leave a comment on one of your blogs stating that there is only the natural world and most of what you believe are imaginary constructs fabricated by mankind? You would most certainly take offence.

The reality however is that I am not offended to any great extent when people tell me that I must believe in their God or that they have a personal relationship with a long dead prophet. Like anyone else I am also a product of social conditioning. It is a given that believers will unthinkingly spew this stuff and won't give a second thought to including those who believe differently in their religious opinions.

Pointing out some of these inequities is ultimately the point of this blog, it is not to convince anyone of anything in terms of what they believe.

I will never try to force my beliefs on you or anyone else. I do have a question though. If you do not want people's comments, why do post? It is in humans to put their 2 cents in whether one wants it or not. For someone who does not buy into this God-thing, you sure go to great lengths to try to prove He does not exist. Just my observation. Keep writing!
