Widow's Mite
....Verily, I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all
they which have cast into the treasury; Mark 12:43---
And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. Luke 21:2

the point of the verses is how much are people willing to give?
there was also a more prosperous person -- several, in fact, who put in great amounts of contributions; however, the paltry amount the widow gave was, I think, her whole wealth; thus, she gave a whole lot more than all the wealthy, who really gave a paltry amount in comparison to what they could have given.

Kent ~.~
There are two scripture passages that speak of the widow's mite:
MARK 12:42 - And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
LUKE 21:2 - And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
