What an interesting, profound thought. As I started reading, had to go back and re-read 1st 5 lines a few times (felt like I was getting a spitual bath--don't laugh). As the poem developed, I felt your images might be a little more personal to you than they would be to me (I'm still working on my relationship to Mr Big, probably because I feel more comfortable talking to Mrs Big and the rest of the family) but the development works quite well, and I think your last line is a wonderful clincher....and (as I said before) I always get these little kicks thru some of your lines that refer me back, if just momentarily, to (for lack of a better word, but historically) Romantic Poetry.
